About The Expo

The Fun and Fitness Outdoor Expo is a fundraising event for the Community Health Mission.  The Expo goal will be to encourage local spectators and participants of all age groups to maintain quality health throughout their life.  The main activities are the four fitness challenges, Savannah's Strength and Endurance V, CHM 5k Walk/Run, Kids Fitness Contest and the 3 on 3 Bball Tournament.  The second aspect of the event will be the many community related, health and educational booths.  And finally, we needed to do something to keep families there throughout the day, so we're bringing food vendors, music, an inflatable amusement park, and live entertainment. 

The Fun and Fitness Outdoor Expo will be a great event that many families can spend part or the whole day at Lake Mayer Park.

How will this major event be made possible?

The fitness challenges will be monitored by Reese Brown and Erin Bacon owners of Savannah's very own Fitness by Reese.  They will be utilizing their team of personal trainers and volunteers.

The informational booths will be provided by companies/organizations that promote health and wellness.

The interactive website will  allow participants to enroll online, allow for raffle ticket purchase, provide weekly updates of new participating business and organizations,  announcements of participating live entertainment and  the announcements of raffle prize giveaways.  The website and marketing of this event will be developed and designed by N'Spire Marketing Group.

The finer event details will be handled by Miriam Rittemeyer and the many volunteers of the Community Health Mission.
